Bob Bye joined the Vizalex team in 2018. He has 25+ years of experience running a multi-state practice with ESOP Companies, Banks, and other Corporations in the design and funding of Executive Benefits, Equity Compensation, and ESOP Repurchase Obligation solutions. Bob holds the Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designations. After serving in the Marine Corps, Bob graduated from the University of Nebraska in Omaha.
Bob currently lives in Roanoke, VA with his wife, Wendy and their two dogs, Emma Plum and Daniel. They have four children and five grandchildren. Bob and Wendy travel and are active in their church. Bob is an active pilot with 3500 hours, loves fly fishing and following the Washington Nationals. He is a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Roanoke, VA. He also serves as Group Leader for Bible Study Fellowship (BSF).
